Currently co-ordinating The Big Draw activities for 2
by4 artists in Horsham town centre October 2004 which have received Awards
for All, West Sussex and Big Draw funding. 2 week drawing project for Sherriff Rosebriars Trust, 7 schools in Surrey Reminiscence project for Horsham District Council, 2 by 4 artist, working with residents of Wayside Old peoples home; Lost and Found project working with South Indian dance class drawing onto fabric, for Crawley Community Arts Teaching life drawing and sculpture at Forest School Horsham (Adults) and other art subjects in Thomas Bennett Community College, Crawley Sussex for the last 9 years, 30 weeks a year. |

My work is figurative but distorted
and symbolic
It responds to the material it is made from in form, pattern and texture. The marks tools make are important - I love the way stone breaks and
aim to work with that, not against it. I sometimes use mythology or humour to play a part in attracting peoples' attention. |
